COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course will suit those who want to take up a ground duty job. It is a Diploma certificate course. Course duration is either 6 months or 1 year. This course is available in part time as well as full time formats. The course covers topics such as- Airline codes, ticketing terminology, Electronic ticketing, Passport and Visas, Foreign Exchange, Airfares and ticketing software. After pursuing this course, one will be able to find job in the ticketing department.
Ticketing courses are also available in the form of combination courses. An example is- Diploma in Travel Management and Air Ticketing. There are various course combinations available, like the one mentioned above.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students who have passed at least 10+2 board examination (any stream- Science, Commerce or Arts) or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to pursue this course.
TRAINING COURSE FEE: 25,000/- Rupees per Semester.
SCOPE, SALARY, PLACEMENT AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
Graduates will be able to find a job at Airports. Front office jobs can be easily bagged by Ticketing course Diploma holders. Airline customer care and service is another area where one may find a job, after completing this course. Average starting salary is around 3 to 4 Lakh Rupees per year.
